The Beginning of Itsy's Adventures

Itsy is just too cute for words. Those of you who haven't heard, I am a proud mom of a 8 1/2 week old Bichon Frise puppy who weighs only 2 1/2 pounds. Her personality is just popping out. Everyone she encounters, the neighbors, their pets, and all of Petsmart have just fallen in love with her. She is now learning how to play. She loves to chase and play with her rope toy. But I have to say that her favorite activity is following her mommy everywhere. This morning I decided to put her in the bathroom with me while I showered. Usually I gate her in the kitchen and she just cries. I thought the bathroom would be better. She was in her little bed with one of her toys. She was so cozy. But as soon as I get into the shower she starts to cry. She even tries to just into the shower. Of course that isn't possible since the tub is higher than her even when she is standing. I can't be out of her sight. Last night I went into the bathroom to get ready for bed. I had her on my bed resting. We have done this all week. But yesterday she decides to have a little more courage and jumps off of the bed to get to me. My bed is high and has a ledge. Bam!!! went Itsy. She stood there afterwards just dazed. I am sure she saw stars. This morning she finally pooped outside. I was so excited. There were no accidents in the house but I found one this morning in the car. After the vet yesterday I had to get some groceries. I had none. So I put her in the floor board and ran into the store. I was gone 10 minutes tops. Before I went in I even tried to get her to go to the bathroom outside. Of course no success. When I came back into the car it stunk. I thought it was a bone that I gave her or even gas. This morning I had a nice surprise in the backseat. POOP and the smell to go with it. It had rolled to the back. YUCK!!! I just hope after my cleaning and spraying of the no smell pet spray for accidents, it won't smell anymore. If it does, by butt is in trouble with Trent. I hope I have amused many with my stories. I know for sure there will be plenty more. I will keep you posted.
